Ribeye Steak | Garnished in KRU Sauce

Savor the excellence of Ribeye Steak with a twist of KRU Sauce. This easy recipe combines tender steak with our unique, flavorful sauce for a gourmet home dining experience.

 

Ingredients:

2 Ribeye steaks (about 1.5 inches thick) 

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil

2-3 cloves garlic, minced (optional)

2 sprigs fresh rosemary or thyme (optional) 

2 tablespoons butter

 

For Sauce:

1/3 cup of KRU Sauce or 5 tablespoons for less heat

1 tsb balsamic vinegar

1 tsp honey 

1 tsb lime juice

1 tsb minced garlic

  

Instructions:

Bring the Steak to Room Temperature:

Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator at least 30-60 minutes before cooking to allow them to come to room temperature. This ensures more even cooking.

Season the Steaks: Sea salt, black pepper

Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper. You can add other seasonings like garlic powder or onion powder if desired.

Sear on the Stovetop:

Add the oil to the hot skillet. Carefully place the steaks in the hot pan and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until a golden-brown crust forms.

Add Aromatics (Optional):

Add minced garlic and fresh rosemary or thyme to the pan during the last minute of searing. Tilt the pan slightly and spoon the hot oil over the steaks for extra flavor.

Transfer to the Oven:

If you're using an oven-safe skillet, transfer it directly to the preheated oven. Otherwise, transfer the steaks to a baking dish. Roast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes for medium-rare, or longer if you prefer your steak more well- done.

Baste with Butter:

In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add butter to the pan. Once melted, spoon the melted butter over the steaks. This adds richness and enhances the flavor. (then add KRU Sauce mix) Save some Sauce for garnishing.

Rest the Steaks:

Remove the steaks from the oven and let them rest on a cutting board for at least 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.

Slice and add the rest of the KRU Sauce and Serve:
