We Got Pizza at Home!

Get ready for a quick, tasty twist on pizza night! This easy recipe combines Trader Joe’s flatbreads with a unique blend of vodka and KRU Sauce, topped with smoked sardines, spinach, and melty cheese. It’s a flavor-packed homemade treat that’s sure to delight.

 

Ingredients:

4 Trader Joe's Whole Wheat Flatbreads opt for Garlic or Regular 1 jar Trader Joe’s Organic Vodka Sauce 

2 tablespoons of KRU Mild Sauce 

1 Can of Lightly smoked TJ’s sardines in olive oil 

1 cup baby spinach 

2 tablespoons organic honey 

1 (12-ounce) bag Trader Joe's Quattro Formaggio 

   

Instructions:

Arrange a rack in the middle of the oven and heat to 400°F. 

Add your sauce into a pot, over medium heat, add KRU Sauce to the pasta sauce and 2 tablespoons of organic honey, and stir for about 3-4 minutes. 

Place the flatbread on a rimmed baking sheet (some overlap is okay). Spread sauce mix onto each flatbread. Divide the spinach over the flatbreads, then top each with about 1/3 cup cheese (or more, if desired) then add your sardines on top. Bake the flatbreads until the cheese is melted and golden brown, 12 to 15  minutes. 

Remove from oven and serve.
